CPR Nutrition was formed from my experience of always having an interest in exercise and nutrition, but not knowing what information out there to listen to because so much of it contradicts each other. Growing up, I remember looking through online forums and magazines trying to learn the proper ways to train, eat and recover from an athletic setting. It was difficult trying to figure out what to do with all the misinformation that is out there; and today it's even more difficult.
As I got a bit older I ended up going to school for business but would continue to take electives around exercise science and nutrition. Eventually I graduated, worked in the business field for a while and realized I never lost that passion around health as well as learning what is the most optimal way to train, eat, and recover. I went back to school for my Masters Degree and became a Registered Dietitian
The goal with CPR Nutrition is to help you give you the tools to optimize your health and performance safely through evidenced based performance nutrition, which is something I always was looking to do for myself.

I recently have begun training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and realized how much of an impact that proper nutrition can have to get you through those intense training sessions. I also enjoy lifting weights, baseball, playing basketball, volleyball and mountain biking around the Arizona scenery.
